Airports:
The main two airports in the area are Richmond International Airport (RIC) and Charlottesville–Albemarle Airport (CHO). RIC is the big international airport about 1 hour away from Charlottesville, and CHO is the smaller Charlottesville airport, approximately a 15 minute car ride to the downtown area of Charlottesville, where the hotel blocks are located.
Things to keep in mind when choosing which airport to fly into:
- If you're coming from Florida, Charlottesville airport doesn’t have direct flights from FL so you will have a connecting flight. However, if you fly into Richmond, you’ll need to rent a car for the drive into Charlottesville. Weigh the pros and cons and see what makes sense for you!
- If you're coming from NY, there are direct flights from LaGuardia airport to CHO daily!
- CHO has direct flights from the following cities & airports: Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, New York (LaGuardia), and Washington D.C. (Dulles)

** If shoulder dates are needed (Thursday 4/22 or Sunday 4/25), you should be able to book them for a same or lower rate per night OR call the hotel and request for them to add it on
Omni Charlottesville Hotel
Omni Charlottesville Hotel is where the Bride & Groom will be staying as well as where the Farewell Brunch will be hosted. It does have very limited availability- but don't worry there are plenty of nearby hotels in the downtown Charlottesville area!

The Fairfield Inn is about 0.5miles from the Omni & downtown strip. It's about an 8-10 minute walk. We stayed there during one of our visits and had no problem getting around by foot to all the local downtown spots!
